Port checks

HTTP checks against https://host:port for services on custom ports.

The Port monitor type in the UI builds https://{host}:{port} and runs an HTTP GET against it. Internally it is stored as an HTTP monitor — there is no separate TCP-only port type beyond Ping (TCP).

Create a port check

  1. Monitors → New monitor → Port (/monitors/new/port).
  2. Enter the host and port.
  3. statusloop checks https://host:port and treats status < 400 as success.
